John Hunt has spent his entire professional career in the insurance industry. John assists Brooks’ commercial clients with risk management, loss control, contract review, claims management and other needs that may be unique to a given client.
John has been a member of the Brooks team since 1982. Prior to that, he was a commercial underwriter for Buckeye Union and Atlantic Mutual Insurance companies. He has a broad range of experience and has worked extensively with social service, manufacturing and construction clients. He works directly with clients to provide safety programs and other services that enhance their risk management efforts.
John is a graduate of The Ohio State University. He is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Toledo Inc., and is vice president of the board of Camp Courageous Inc.. He has served on the Wood County Special Olympics Advisory Board and the Kiwanis Youth Foundation Board. John is also active at Blessed John XXIII Church. He has earned the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
